ICT is currently providing PT, OT and Speech therapies in the natural environment, your home!
We can provide these therapies on a private pay basis, through Inland Regional Center or through your local school district.
ICT is also the home of KidPower! early education program. The goal of our KidPower! program is to prepare children mentally and physically to fully participate and access their future preschool classroom. Initially, our early intervention specialists listen and work with each family in determining what is most important for the child to achieve. Working as a team is truly essential to each child’s success! Through weekly sessions each family receives individualized instruction on activities that will help each child reach their full potential and your family goals.
Each family receives a comprehensive report every three months which highlights accomplishments and areas needing continued support. While in the KidPower! program every student has access to consultations from a variety of specialists. These include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, infant massage, behavior and parenting specialists.

Our physical therapists examine and treat a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular problems that affect a child’s ability to move and function in efficient and variable ways. Treatment sessions may include the promotion of balance, bilateral coordination, gait and other developmental activities using toys and equipment appropriate for each child. Our PT’s are also able to address the use of orthotic and other assistive devices such as gait trainers and wheelchairs in order to best promote participation within the child’s community.
Our occupational therapists work to promote “skills for the job of living” necessary for an independent and satisfying life. These skills may include dressing, feeding, socialization through play as well as fine motor tasks such as writing. OTs may utilize specialized equipment when addressing sensory issues that are interfering with a child’s ability to function in their community. Your OT can also be a support for carrying out activities of daily living with the use of adaptive equipment.
Our speech-language pathologists are concerned with all aspects of communication. They will assess a child’s understanding of what is being said to them as well as what is being said by them. They also assess pre-language skills through constructive play and are equipped to distinguish a variety of phonological disorders. Other speech therapy tasks include assessment and treatment of feeding and swallowing difficulties, attention training and cognition.
Infant teachers work with children who display a variation of developmental delays; from infancy to three years of age. These teachers address all areas of development and offer lesson plans through kid power sessions that adhere to all areas of development, including; pre literacy skills, cognition, fine motor and gross motor skills. We promote an integrated perspective into learning that offers children the ability to learn through visual, aditory and tactile measures.
Our infant Massage class is for our super babies, newborn to 6 months of developmental age. This six-week course literally “touches” on the importance of nurturing infants and children through soothing touch. Parents learn massage techniques that aid digestion, improve immune function, and enhances the development of the nervous system.
